We Can Reach A Lost World Together - (continued)
A "world-class" Christian knows they were saved to serve and made for a mission.  To think like a "world-class" Christian requires a shift from self-centered to other-centered thinking.  This is the first step to becoming a "world-class" Christian.

God is a global God.  He has always cared about the entire world.  God so loved the world . . . The first way to think globally is to begin praying for specific countries.  Prayer is the most important tool for your mission in the world.

Another way to develop global thinking is to just get up and go on a short-term mission project to another country!  There is simply no substitute for hands on real life experience in another culture.

Finally, if you want to be like Jesus, you must care about what He cares about most.  You must have a heart for the whole world.  Read and watch the news with Great Commission eyes - where there is change or conflict, you can be sure God will use it to bring people to Him.  The Great Commission is your commission, and this website will help you find out how you can do your part to make a difference in the world!

Who We Equip (continued)
Our focus and priority is to send trained cross-cultural workers to decisive points of priority where little or few have gone.  Our goal is to establish ministry that yields "fruit that remains".  Contact the Senior Pastor's office for details regarding being a sent missionary of COTN.

Short-Term Missions (continued)
COTN sponsors two annual short-term mission trips.  A summer trip to Mexico that provides opportunities for various construction projects and evangelistic outreaches.  An annual trip to Nicaragua occurs in late December or early January.  The focus of this trip is usually to serve the poor through medical clinics and food distribution.  Construction projects are also a possibility when needed.

Serving as Senders (continued)
Each area listed has its unique responsibilities.  Each area is best served by the specific gifts within the body of Christ.  Allow His Spirit to speak to your heart about possible involvement in one of these phases of support.

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believe?
And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach unless they are sent?"
