Our church reaches out to all kinds of people with a message - "there is forgiveness of sins for all who repent" (Luke 24:46-47). We believe we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to go to all peoples with "the knowledge of the glory of God" (Habakkuk 2:14). Each person in our church has a "nation" to reach where they live, work and play. This "nation" is made of people with whom they share a common experience, a common interest, or a common language. Everyone is sent to someone. Our mission is to make a difference in our communities by bringing people to Christ. It is Christ who changes lives, not us. He saves us from our selfishness and sin. He empowers us to overcome. He motivates us to serve. He teaches us to love one another. He gives us a destiny and vision to make a difference in this world. Our mission was given to us over 2000 years ago and it has not changed: Go and make followers of Christ from all kinds of people, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - teaching followers of Christ everything He commanded us. We do not accomplish this mission alone. He is with us always because we are on Mission with God. |
